The Kansas City Free Eye Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and relies entirely on the generous support of community businesses, foundations, and private donations. We believe that collaboration is essential in saving the sight of others. This belief is reflected in our business partnerships with corporate supporters who also demonstrate the commitment to this mission.

Sabates Eye Centers
Every year Sabates Eye Centers provides the funding and materials for the free eyeglasses that KCFEC dispenses to patients. The value of funding 200 pairs of eyeglasses every year is more than $9,000. Sabates Eye Centers also provides eye medications, drops, and vitamins for patients.

Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City
In 2010, KCFEC received a grant award of $50,000 to fund the procurement of its own ophthalmologic equipment and specialized tools from the Health Care Foundation. This critical grant enabled our organization to expand clinic services beyond the donation of use of private offices in the metropolitan area.

Pat Tillman Foundation
A grant award of $10,000 in 2009 gave KCFEC the seed capital to begin offering its services in the Kansas City area.
